An overview

A 12-month internship immersed me in 13 distinct design and development branches—spanning from customer-facing elements such as handle grips and lidar housings to internal infrastructure builds supporting operational workflows—each serving as a learning foundation for understanding CAD modeling, manufacturability assessment in collaboration with machinists and external suppliers, and prototype realization through various methods. Through this hands-on experience, I came to understand that Design for Manufacturability and cross-functional engineering integration are not merely concepts, but essential practices that shape how ideas become physical products—knowledge I have leveraged and built upon since.

Builds

Components were initially sourced from local suppliers specializing in sheet metal forming, machining, and additive manufacturing. As experience grew, 3D printing was brought in-house, using PrusaSlicer software and Prusa Original printers to accelerate rapid prototyping.
